Cannabis cultivation associations
For cannabis cultivation associations with a required annual harvest quantity of 70–250 kg, the CarbonActive Indoor Growing Compartments – IGCs – are ideal.
The IGC is CarbonActive’s solution for scalable, high-performance cultivation rooms. Light, climate, cultivation benches and ventilation are matched to each other down to the smallest detail to promote maximum yield and quality of the harvests.
Thanks to its standardised design, there is no loss of time or costs with the planning of the installation of an IGC. The installation of an IGC only takes a few days.
Medicinal cultivation
Medicinal cultivation is subject to the highest regulatory requirements for facility design and technical implementation.
Thanks to our in-house production, CarbonActive builds facilities for any required air quality level – from the GACP cultivation area to the more strictly regulated GMP post-harvest processing rooms. We will gladly advise you on the selection of materials and components for GMP-compliant cultivation.
We can also design medicinal facilities based on our IGCs to keep the planning and installation costs as low as possible. From 4 IGCs or more, we design a customised climate solution to reduce the initial and operational costs compared to separate IGCs.
Research projects
Research projects are limited in time and the number of research subjects, and their monthly demand cannot always be accurately estimated at the start of the project.
That is why we offer a modular system for scalable research project facilities based on our IGCs. This means that nothing stands in the way of a quick project start and the cultivation facility grows with the number of research subjects and the cash flow.
For projects with predetermined annual production volumes, we recommend building a custom facility to lower the initial and operational costs of climate installations per square meter.

Air Handling Units
For filtering, dehumidification, cooling and heating, we offer air handling units that can be assembled in modules. These are particularly suitable for complex and large facilities that are the size of a cultivation association.
Energy Recovery Group DIY kit
CarbonActive offers cultivation associations and medium-sized facilities the ERG DIY kit, a sophisticated ventilation system with which an existing room on site can be cooled, heated and dehumidified in an energy-efficient manner while recovering the waste heat.
IGC - Indoor Growing Compartment
Complete cultivation rooms with 35 square meters of cultivation area in several variants. The advantage of these perfectly matched systems is, among others, short planning and installation times.
